Adele has practised many styles of yoga over the past 20 years but really discovered the benefits and depth of yoga after being taught to meditate while her two boys were small. When Adele moved to the Northern Beaches from Tasmania a few years ago, she left her career as a neuroscientist in order to raise her young family and immerse herself in the study and practice of yoga. Adele was inspired to bring the tools of yoga to kids and adults after feeling a great need for stillness and balance in herself, her own family, and in the kids and parents around her at a large primary school.

To this end, Adele completed the year-long Qi Yoga Hatha Teacher Training in 2017. She was thankful to be given the wonderful opportunity to teach the Manly Yoga Community Class in early 2018 under the brilliant mentorship of Atmanidhi Saraswati.

Adele then completed the Rainbow Kids Yoga and Zenergy Kids Yoga teacher training courses in 2018 and started teaching her own Preschoolers & Carers yoga classes. She continues to teach in various kids’ yoga classes around the Northern Beaches. Through her Zenergy training, Adele discovered the Japanese style Ryoho Yoga and has absorbed much from the style into her own daily practice to great effect.

Adele is inspired to share her unique blend of Hatha yoga from the Satyananda, Ryoho/Zenergy and Krishnamacharya/Desikachar traditions. She also brings a wealth of experience from her personal study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, philosophy, mindfulness and diverse meditation practices.

Adele loves spending time with her family bushwalking, camping and mountain biking in wild places. She also loves karate and kirtan with her kids. What keeps Adele so inspired is the spark that lights up people’s eyes when they connect with their own spirit through yoga.
