Yoga ‘Guidebook to Life’

How to live a fulfilling and meaningful life with help from The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

Heard of ‘Yoga off the mat’?

Most of us know there is more to Yoga than simply moving our bodies.

Join this 6-week course at Manly Yoga and learn how to use the ancient yogic wisdom to navigate the trials and tribulations of this thing called life. Explore how yogic philosophy, still to this day, can help to create health, healing and personal transformation.

Discover mind-blowing insights that are gradually revealed in a practical, succinct and powerful way, particularly through the lens of the core classical text of yoga, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.

We will:

  • learn the translation and interpretation of key themes in yoga philosophy
  • have a practical understanding of how they can be used to navigate your life in an almost ‘step by step’ guide
  • cover content that is not always deeply explored in most Yoga Teacher Training Courses*
  • be exposed to basic chanting of the Yoga Sutras, the traditional way these teachings were passed on

*No prior knowledge or experience is necessary, only an openness to discover.

Your guide:

Your guide on this journey is Natalie Bowcutt, who has studied Yoga Philosophy under the tuition of Michael de Manincor, who trained for over a decade directly with TKV Desikachar, son of Krishnamacharya, known as the Grandfather of Modern Yoga.

Through experiencing her own personal transformation, which she attributes to applying these teachings, she is passionate about sharing in a down-to-earth, relatable way for anyone who is looking for guidance on how to live a happy, fulfilling and meaningful life.

Natalie will explain the concepts from these ancient teachings in ways that make sense for people living their lives today. Her aim is to help create a fresh lens in which to view the world and your place in it.

Natalie ran a highly engaging Philosophy Group on the Yoga Sutras at Manly Yoga in November, so we’ve invited her back to run this wonderful course!
